Over the years, he has played a key role in organizing numerous BoBfest events while it was held at Gardner-Webb University.

Mr. Brooks brings extensive hands-on experience in the construction of observatories and telescope piers, as well as in the maintenance and repair of telescopes. Among his many contributions to the field, the design and construction of the 29-inch telescope stands out as a particularly significant professional achievement.
